How do you handle power and logistics in off-grid venues?

Great question—we’re very comfortable in off-grid and hard-to-access venues. Here’s how we handle power and logistics so service runs smoothly:

Power options

  • Standard onsite power: We can run on dedicated 110–120V circuits for single-group setups; larger two-group machines typically need 220V/20A dedicated circuits. Grinders use separate 110V outlets.

  • Generators: For outdoor/off-grid sites, we arrange quiet, event-grade generators sized with a safety buffer to prevent breaker trips.

  • Battery systems: For certain configurations, lithium battery power is an option for silent operation during ceremonies or talks.

  • Backup plans: We bring power distribution, heavy‑gauge extensions, and have contingency plans to keep service uninterrupted.

Water and filtration

  • Self-contained water: We bring filtered water systems and pumps, so no venue plumbing is required at the station.

  • On-site line if available: We’ll connect to a nearby cold-water outlet with proper filtration and pressure limiting.

  • We manage water quality targets (hardness and pH) to protect equipment and ensure taste consistency.

Setup footprint and timing

  • Compact footprint: About 5×5–6×5 feet per station; we can scale with satellite stations for high volume.

  • Timing: Typical setup is 60–90 minutes so machines reach proper temperature; breakdown 30–60 minutes.

Weather and terrain

  • Shade/cover: For outdoor service we plan for awnings or tenting; in cold weather, heaters and three‑sided protection may be required.

  • Access planning: We coordinate load-in routes, terrain, ADA access, and safe cable runs to avoid trip hazards.

Coordination and permits

  • Vendor coordination: We work with your caterer and AV/power team to map circuits, generator placement, and dairy/refrigeration for multi-day events.

  • Permits/venue rules: If local health or special permits are needed, please contact your city’s event planner and they’ll advise requirements.

What you handle vs. what we handle

  • You: Share the venue address/zip, service hours, approximate guest counts, indoor/outdoor plan, and any power already on site.

  • Us: Provide baristas, equipment, all beverages/supplies, power distribution, water systems, setup/teardown, and clear day-of logistics.
